“In 2019, a new playing field was constructed in Standdaarbuiten, a village center in the municipality of Moerdijk. The use of heavy construction equipment during the project resulted in soil compaction, which in turn caused the field to flood following every rain shower. “ After several attempts to solve the issue, we contacted TFI Vitaler Groen, as we had had good experiences with them during previous projects. TFI carried out on-site soil drilling, determined soil density properties and provided no-obligation advice regarding how we could resolve the flooding issue.

Following the advice of the TFI representative, we asked TFI to relieve the soil compaction issue, using the TFI-method.  With the TFI-method, the water absorption capabilities of the soil are maximized and excess water can easily drain down into the groundwater table. Since the treatment, even with all this year’s rainfall, we no longer have flooding on the playing field.  We are very satisfied with the result!”
